Domino Records and Waterstones got together to celebrate the launch of the “Loops” book. The event featured readings by Richard Millward & a performance by King Creosote.
We used our Q208 speakers with the AKG D5 being our chosen vocal mic (much better definition). We also used our versatile Q106 speakers for monitoring. Thanks (as ever) to Silv and the events team for making it easy for us.

Once again we were lucky enough to provide the sound for this prestigious lunch for TV veterans organised by the Royal Television Society. Michael Palin CBE was ably quizzed by Ray Snoddy about Python & his well known exploits around the globe.
Using two Wireless Lavalier Mics together with four of our Discreet Loudspeakers, the event was a real treat for everyone involved. Thanks as always to Tony & his staff from Overseas House.

Another classy event found us in the company of five world class chefs! The RAC Epsom always pull out all the stops for the highlight of their calendar, & this year was no exception! Michel Roux OBE, Brian Turner CBE, Anton Edelmann, John Williams MBE & Philip Corrick prepared an amazing four course gourmet dinner which was served in a huge marquee. We provided our Conference PA System with two additional speakers so that we could comfortably cover such a large area.
After dinner, Brian Turner & Channel 4’s Mike Cattermole took to the floor to host the annual charity auction using two of our Wireless Handheld Mics. This event was a real treat for us as we got to see so many famous chefs in action in one place! Many thanks to Anna & Rob at the RAC Epsom for their support.

We always look forward to providing a system for such a prestigious event. The world renowned Traveller’s Club in Pall Mall is the luxurious setting for this annual prize for Literature &, so the only choice was our discreet & compact Q106 Speakers.
We used four of these loudspeakers for good even coverage together with two of our Beyerdynamic Wireless Handheld Mics. Everything went very well, with the prize going to author Adam Nicolson. Thanks goes to Maggie, Paula & the team at RSL who organise the event.

Waterstones asked us to provide the sound for a special evening at the beautiful St. James’ Church in Piccadilly. World famous author Jodi Picoult read from her latest book, taking questions from a packed house of 600 fans.
Consistent sound coverage over two floors of a large church takes some doing! We took our time in the planning – measuring distances & acoustics so that on the day we could concentrate purely on installation.
Our Conference PA System was expanded to a ten speaker rig so as to meet the demands of the venue. We split the signal & used varying delays on all the satellites to produce a great result. On this special occasion we also provided a film unit to capture the event on DV as the event needed to be posted on the internet. Many thanks to Zöe & Silv from Waterstones, the staff at St. James’ & Duncan at Aquaman Design.

Waterstone’s flagship store in Piccadilly asked us to provide the sound for a celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Children’s Laureate. Current Laureate Michael Rosen was joined by Anne Fine, Michael Morpurgo, Jacqueline Wilson & Quentin Blake.
As there were over 100 children in attendance we took extra care to keep all of our equipment out of site. We used a pair of our Q208 Loudspeakers which provided great coverage, together with six Wireless Lavalier Mics. It was a privilege to be part of such a worth while event.

This event proved to be one of our most notable to date. The Inter Faith Network asked us to provide a PA System for their event at Lambeth Palace. We used five gooseneck mics, a lectern mic with our minature rifle mic & two Handheld Radio Mics for Q&A.
We only had an hour to get the system ready in time for a keynote speech by Dr.Rowan Williams, which we captured for the IFN (together with the rest of the days proceedings) on our Portable Data Recorder. Thanks goes to Amy at Lambeth Palace for making our lives a lot easier.

We were asked by the School of Meditation to provide our Presentation PA System with two Wireless Lavalier Mics for the School’s Easter Meeting at Colet House in West London. The guest speaker was the spiritual leader & ecological campaigner Satish Kumar.
We captured his address, speech and Q&A on our Data Recorder, which we later presented as Compact Disc to the School. Thank you to Nigel Clarke for our most enlightening event to date!

This event for Absolute Radio was a challenge & was spread over two rooms. Room one was in Luton Hoo’s luxurious wood-paneled dinning room. This involved our Presentation PA System, two Handheld Radio Mics, an 8ft screen, a projector (which we back projected) & a laptop to play Absolute’s specially produced DVD.
The second room required our Playback PA System for the band who really set the mood for the rest of the night. On this occasion we also provided two CD players & a Mixer for the DJ who continued the party into the small hours.

This media services giant asked us to provide a system for a two day presentation to be held at their offices in Fitzrovia. We used our ever popular Speech PA System with the addition of our trilite lectern & two of our gooseneck microphones.
We opted for a “crossed pair” configuration of the microphones to maximise the sound of the presenter. We also provided a feed to go to Zenith’s Video Camera that was capturing the proceedings. Thanks goes to Heidi who organised the event.
